First of all, thank you for your work on this project! 🙇🏻‍♂️

It would be great if you take a look at this issue as soon as you have time.
Please note, there is a PR #335 that, I believe, needs to be merged before the release.

Also, I completely understand you probably don't have free time or you don't want to maintain python-jose anymore. But we really need this project alive!
Would you mind considering granting permissions to manage this repository to some community member or transferring it to Jazzband?
